New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve, a time for celebration and wasted money on gym memberships. For us, it means New Year’s Eve catering, and we’re happy to provide it. If you’re planning on hosting a New Year’s Eve party at your humble abode, you might want to consider catering. The less time cooking and the more time popping bottles of champagne the better, right? You can check out our catering menu here, or as always, go with one of our fabulous ideas below.

Apps…no…Hors d’oeuvres

Nothing says fancy like French words that no one knows how to spell. It’s also a known fact that cocktail hour is the best part of any wedding. Put them together and you have a fancy party that everyone is bound to love. New Year’s Eve parties are usually later at night anyway, people want to enjoy themselves and be free to mingle. Don’t damper the party atmosphere with a sit-down dinner. Keep it fresh while keeping it fancy—hors d’oeuvres galore!

Fancy Pizza Party

You didn’t think pizza could be fancy? Think again. Take a pizza, throw some clams on it, fancy. Take another pizza, sprinkle some feta cheese and prosciutto on it, fancy. Do you see where we’re going with this? For an added twist of unnecessary fanciness, think of some outlandish toppings or combinations of toppings and throw those into the mix as well. Your guests might feel a little uneasy eating a slice of caviar and marmalade pizza, but at least they’ll do so in style.

Coffee and Dessert

Make it easier on yourself and just offer coffee and dessert. Start the party later, put out a few sweet snacks and give everyone the gift of caffeine. Just make sure you have some dessert liquors handy, this is New Year’s Eve you know.

No matter what you do, make sure you enjoy yourself. We got a whole new year ahead of us and it’s guaranteed to be filled with plenty of things to grey our hair. So until then: relax, eat, drink, and be merry!
