Team Building Events
You got a company? You got employees? You want to build a super team of happy employees who love each other and the company they work for?
You sound like a smart business owner.
So you got your team, you wanna build some camaraderie and love, but you want them to take it seriously–AKA you don’t want it to be corny. Well don’t you worry. Even though we enjoy cooking with corn, we don’t necessarily enjoy being associated with it in a mawkishly clichéd kind of way (which we hope you’ve gathered from reading some of our other services).
Ready for the list?
Here comes the list:
This one is a no-brainer, but stay with me. First, a cooking class presents an opportunity to learn valuable life tools, thus increasing the likelihood that your employees will take this event seriously. Second, it’s a great way to grow inter-company relationships. There is no hierarchy in the kitchen, and this can lead to certain employees being humbled by the cooking skills of an employee they consider “under them”. Or at the very least, it will allow everyone to laugh at Stan as he burns yet ANOTHER chicken souffle. Oh Stan, you never get anything right. Lastly, (and this is why asked you to stay with me), a cooking class serves as the perfect primer to your 2nd mandatory team building event of the year!
So you think you can cook? Darn tootin’ you can cook! You just took a cooking class from the best chefs this side of the Mississippi and now you’re ready to show these skills off. I present to you: the Culinary Concepts Corp Cook-off Challenge, or in your case: Team Building Event #2. Think “Hell’s Kitchen” or “Chopped”. This is a great way to promote camaraderie, because employees are required to work as a team in order to make the best possible dish. Plus, both this event and the cooking class have lunch basically built-in. You will utilize our state-of-the-art kitchen to prepare the dishes, and then enjoy the fruits of your labor in our dining room. It’s a team building event truly made By the people, FOR the people.
Marshmallow Spaghetti Tower
Is cooking too “grown-up” for you? We understand. We can cook for you, while you try to build towers out of dry spaghetti and marshmallows. Yes, this is a real thing. The team with the highest tower wins. Simple, fun, surprisingly challenging. Actually, you can do this or any other challenge you can conjure up, and we’ll cook you the best lunch (or breakfast) you’ve had in weeks. That’s what’s great about us, we cater to our clients. See what we did there?

Culinary Concept #7: Notice the tender in tenderize. Use gentle but rhythmic strikes when tenderizing meat.
